"The LingBu Footwork app is extremely easy to use, I have incorporated it into my daily training routine. It has improved not only my own physical conditioning, but most importantly I’ve seen a vast improvement in the consistency of my students’ game."

OLYMPIAN AND HEAD COACH/FOUNDER OF CLEARONE BADMINTON CENTRE -
Since I find footwork quite boring to practice by myself, LingBu is like that missing training partner when you're the only one who wants to practice footwork. I personally believe that good footwork is essential for a high level badminton game, so it is money well spent if you want to improve your game.

After playing around with the app on court a few times, it became evident to me that the app would be quite useful for an intermediate level player who already had basic knowledge of how to move on court. I would recommend this app for any player who wanted to practice on his/her own but had no team member to assist them in pointing corners.

THREE-TIME CANADIAN NATIONAL CHAMPION -
If you are looking for an app that can help you with the consistency of your badminton footwork, then try LingBu! The app gives people the opportunity to practice certain aspects of footwork through continuous repetition. Also, you can change the app’s features easily to fit your preferences. Personally, I would use the app to develop my speed and cardiovascular endurance. I really enjoy the function where I am shown where to return my shots; it makes the whole experience that much more realistic.

ABOUT LINGBU
The inspiration for LingBu started over a decade ago, when our founder, Edward, invented a badminton training device to help him improve his footwork on the court using several LED lights and a Lego Mindstorm controller. The device was programed to flash semi-random light patterns that show the player where to travel on the court during the drill. Using this machine as part of his weekly training, Edward went on to win local 40+ tournaments.
Meaning “quick step” in Chinese, LingBu Badminton was founded in 2012 so that every player could benefit from the help that technology brings to the sport of badminton.
Our newest project, the Shuttle Speed app launching in 2016, will allow players to measure the speed of their smash by using just a smartphone or a tablet – no high speed cameras, radars or lasers required!
Mission Statement
LingBu Badminton enhances the performance and enjoyment of the game of badminton through technology and innovation.
